What
would motivate anyone to leave Broadway theatres and the plush casinos of Las Vegas, the International Jet Set parties, to become a
humble servant of G-d?
My friends
were rich, famous, successful and talented in their field, Elvisg
Presley, Sammy Davis, Jr., Frank Sinatra, Jerry Lewis, Dick Shawn,
Milton Berle, Red Skelton, Buddy Hackett, Lou Walters, Juliet Prowse,
Bob Hope and many more, too numerous to mention. But so many of them were not happy, had no
inner peace, could not sustain their personal relationships. They were interesting and imaginative
friends, living life to the fullest, actually, to excess... more parties, partners, travel, more
alcohol and drugs--even suicide. What, then, was success? What direction should I
follow?
Join me in
my spiritual journey from Las Vegas to Jerusalem, and enjoy the spiritual growth I gained as I
searched and studied every philosophy and religion to find the answers to sanity in this world of
hedonistic chaos and spiritual emptiness. When I began to learn the
authentic wisdom of Orthodox Judaism and its sages, I learned the practical
value of every commandment of our Creator as it works in your life. It is a walk
in the Garden of Eden. I found the wisdom you need to get through life with less stress,
more courage and faith and fewer mistakes. Experience the living wonders and miracles that
I learned to rely on as a natural resource, the metaphysical law of the Universe.
As our great King David, of blessed memory, wrote in his Psalm 34, "Who
is the man that desires life, and loves a long life of happiness?
Keep your tongue from evil and your lips from speaking falsehood.
Shun evil, and do good; seek peace and pursue it."
